Stems branched from middle, rarely diffuse. Leaf-blades 20–30 mm. Fruiting pedicels divaricate, 17–35 mm, 1–2 times bracts.
Phenology: Flowering Jul–Oct.
Habitat: Moist sand and loam, near streams, ditches, roadsides, partial shade.
Elevation: 0–900 m.
