Leaves: cauline (0 or) 1–8. Bracts: margins entire. Flowers: calyx tomentose; corolla-tube light purple to purple; galea moreorless purple; abaxial lip moreorless purple.
Phenology: Flowering Jun–Aug.
Habitat: Somewhat barren well-drained rocky slopes, gravel meadows along streams and lakeshores.
Elevation: 1800–3200 m.
Distribution
Idaho, Mont., Utah, Wyo.
