Leaves sparsely stipitate-glandular or not. Phyllaries stipitate-glandular. Disc-florets 5–10.2n = 10.


Phenology: Flowering Jul–Oct.
Habitat: Openings, chaparral, thin, gravelly soils of serpentine outcrops, roadsides
Elevation: 100–500 m
