Leaves mostly opposite; blades lanceovate to lance-linear, 5–20 mm wide, margins flat, apices acute. 2n = 16.
Phenology: Flowering Jul–Oct.
Habitat: Rocky slopes and valleys, open woods, roadsides
Elevation: 1500–3200 m
