Herbs, annual. Leaf-blades flat, 3–5-veined, oblong, lanceolate or linear-lanceolate. Perianth segments usually forming 1–1.3 mm membranous wings or winged-tuberculate appendages at maturity, glabrous or sparsely pubsecent.
