Cauline leaves distinct or partially connate into horn shape. Petals 2–6 mm. 2n = 16, 32, 48.
Phenology: Flowering Jan–Apr.
Habitat: Open places on bare clay banks, clayey soils or sand, or scree and talus slopes
Elevation: 0-1000 m
