Stems 15–50 cm, glandular-pubescent or eglandular, hairs long, 5 times as long as broad or longer, not scabrous. Leaf-blades lanceolate to ovate, usually wider than 10 mm. Petals creamy white. 2n = 48.

Phenology: Flowering summer.
Habitat: Chaparral, open coniferous forest, rocky areas, coastal slopes
Elevation: 100-2300 m

Discussion

Subspecies glandulosa is found in the Cascades and Sierra Nevada. Eglandular plants have been treated by some workers as var. (or subsp.) greenei, a distinction that is of doubtful value.
