Trichomes tuberculate. Petals yellow, drying yellow. Fruits: replum apex acute; ovules 4 per ovary. 2n = 8.
Phenology: Flowering Apr–Jun.
Habitat: Gravel slides and banks, sandy bluffs, washes, stream and lake shores
Elevation: 300-2000 m
