Stems mostly greater than 10 dm, usually 1 main-stem. Leaf-blades lanceolate to linear-lanceolate, base attenuate. 2n = 20.
Phenology: Flowering summer.
Habitat: Wet soil, ditches, thickets, low fields.
Elevation: 50–1500 m.
