Plants relatively robust. Leaves: proximal 80–300 × 40–100 mm, sharply serrate; distal relatively few, gradually reduced distally, margins serrate.


Phenology: Flowering Aug–Sep–(Oct).
Habitat: Moist soils, swamp margins, boggy ground, wet meadows, roadside ditches, seeps, edges of wet woods
Elevation: 0–1800+ m
