Leaf-blades elliptic to lanceolate, 20–70 × 7–20 mm, lengths mostly 2–5 times widths. Peduncles 2–15 mm. Phyllaries: apices (inner) mostly acute.
Phenology: Flowering Aug–Nov.
Habitat: Igneous soils, montane and canyon slopes
Elevation: 1500–2200 m
