Proximal leaves mostly 3–6+ cm, usually 5–15-lobed. Involucres 5–6+ mm. Ray-florets: corollas (sometimes 0) usually yellow, rarely white, often purplish abaxially, 3–7 mm; stigmas yellow. Disc-florets 20–100+. Cypselae 2.5–4.5 mm, sometimes epapillate. 2n = 14.
