Phenology: Flowering Feb–Apr.
Habitat: Rocky serpentine slopes and ridges, chaparral.
Elevation: 300–1000 m.

Discussion

Variety albiflorus occurs in the inner North Coast Ranges from Glenn County south to Napa County.
