Primary-stems somewhat stoloniferous, flagelliform branches or apices present. Primary-stem leaves appressed, oblong-ovate, 0.5–1 mm; margins entire; apex acute; costa double or single, short, occasionally ecostate; basal laminal cells rectangular; distal medial cells linear; apical cells linear. Secondary stem and branch leaves 1–2 (–3) mm; base slightly decurrent; costa 1/2–3/4 leaf length; alar cells slightly differentiated, rectangular to quadrate, 10–30 µm; basal juxtacostal laminal cells oblong-linear, (22–) 40–60 (–80) µm, walls slightly porose; distal medial cells long-hexagonal to linear, (13–) 20–30 (–50) µm, walls sometimes porose; apical cells rounded-hexagonal to rhombic, (5–) 6–8 (–17) µm, walls sometimes weakly porose. Seta yellow to yellowish-brown. Capsule erect to suberect, neck narrow; exostome teeth with internal surface smooth, trabeculate; endostome cilia present, nodulose.
