Stems short-creeping, scales very narrow, dark-brown, leaves closely spaced. Blade oblong, ca. 10–25 cm; ultimate segments narrowly elongate-cuneate, often 1–1.5 cm × 0.5–2 mm, papery, apically denticulate especially when sterile. Sori on 1–8 vein endings; indusia erose at distal margin. Spores trilete. 2n = 76.
