Leaf-blades 10–35 × 2–9 cm. Arrays of heads 8–35+ cm. Peduncles 4–17 mm. Involucres 6–9 mm. Corollas 10–12 mm. Cypselae 5–6 mm; pappi 9–10 mm.
Phenology: Flowering summer.
Habitat: Moist soils, open slopes, meadows
Elevation: 900–2000 m
