Pollen usually white. Cypselae mostly 2.5–3 mm., disc-florets mostly 20–60 (–70).


Phenology: Flowering Feb–May.
Habitat: Open, grassy places, often margins of seeps or vernal pools
Elevation: 10–800(–1400) m
