Stems gray to gray-green, hirsute. Leaf-blades gray to gray-green, surfaces hirsute. Petals lavender to red-orange. 2n= 20.
Phenology: Flowering summer–fall.
Habitat: Dry roadsides, rocky terrain
Elevation: 1300–2100 m
