Racemes (congested), elongated in fruit; central rachis (3.7–) 4.5–12 (–16.5) cm. Fruiting pedicels horizontal to divaricate, straight, whitish, stout, (5–) 6–9 (–13) mm, moderately flattened at base. Flowers: petals white, (5–) 6–9 (–10) mm; gynophore stout, (0.5–) 1–3 mm. Fruits usually horizontal or divaricate, rarely divaricate-ascending, incurved, (1.4–) 1.9–3.7 (–4.5) cm. 2n = 26.


Phenology: Flowering Jun–Oct.
Habitat: Desert flats, shrub communities, alkaline grounds
Elevation: 600-1800 m
