Stems decumbent, branches on well-developed plants few-flowered. Leaf-blades linear to narrowly lanceolate. Inflorescences open racemes. Petals lavender to pink shading pale-yellow or white in proximal 1/2, unspotted. 2n = 18.
Phenology: Flowering May–Jul.
Habitat: Sandy hills near coast.
Elevation: 0–100 m.
Discussion
Subspecies immaculata, known only from a small portion of San Luis Obispo County, is designated as rare by the California Native Plant Society.
