Flowers: calyx glabrous, margins sometimes ciliate, lobes triangular; corolla: tube yellow; galea yellow, 6–11 mm, beaked, apex acute; abaxial lip yellow.


Phenology: Flowering late Jun–Aug.
Habitat: Moist openings in coniferous forests.
Elevation: 2100–2700 m.

Discussion

Variety siifolia is recorded from southeastern Washington (F. W. Pennell 1934); the author has not seen specimens from that area.
