Condalia warnockii

Shrubs, 0.5–3 m; primary branches thorn-tipped, secondary branches thorn-tipped, with short-shoots and occasionally a few tertiary thorns, hispidulous or densely short-villous to velutinous; internodes 0.5–2 (–3) mm. Leaves: petiole 0–2 mm; blade yellowish to brownish olive or gray-green adaxially, spatulate, 3–7 (–10) × 0.5–2.5 (–5) mm, subcoriaceous, margins entire, not revolute, apex acute, surfaces hispidulous or densely short-villous to velutinous, abaxial intervein surfaces microvesiculate, not appearing waxy; venation raised and conspicuous abaxially. Inflorescences on short-shoots, mostly 1–2-flowered. Pedicels 0.5–3 mm. Flowers: sepals persistent in fruit; petals 0. Drupes globose to fusiform-globose or depressed-globose, 4–6 mm; stones 1–2-seeded.
