Flowers: perianth and androecium perigynous; epicalyx bractlets absent; hypanthium cupshaped, obconic, campanulate, or tubular; torus absent; carpel 1, distinct, free, style terminal, distinct; ovules 2 (1 abortive), apical, collateral (obturator present). Fruits drupes; styles deciduous, not elongate.
