Longest inflorescences 12–32 mm; longest proximal internodes 6–10 mm; longest proximal bracts 9–12 (–18) mm.
Phenology: Fruiting summer.
Habitat: Mesic forests, especially along rivers, rarely medows
Elevation: 50–1200 m
